About Me

Stephanie Lee is a production designer, scenery carpenter, and filmmaker.

She is a Korean-American born and raised in New York. After working with The Public Theater for 4.5 years, she moved across the country to San Diego, where she is currently based. After working, on multiple productions at the La Jolla Playhouse, such as The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Come From Away, and Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, she moved on to work at San Diego State University (SDSU) as the Studio C Supervisor and Shop Foreman.

Her continued interest in art and creative work has pushed her from carpentry to completing her MFA in Film Production at SDSU with a focus on Production Design in May 2023.

Stephanie aspires to continue collaborating with others to create environments that propel storytelling via production design and virtual production.
